Summer is the time to attend a fair. Initially they were created to celebrate the best of harvest and cooking, local fairs have evolved into a venue for really good “bad-for-you-food” (aka funnel cakes, kettle corn and ice cream) to playing games of chance. Watch a tractor pull or demolition derby! And, we cannot forget looking at all of the animals at the live-stock shows.
Be sure to have fun at one of these local county fairs throughout the Southeastern Indiana region.
Due to the coronavirus, please check with your favorite fair before heading out to make sure it has not been cancelled or postponed. Look at this PDF for information about how fairs are to operate in Indiana.
