
#SupportLocal is a new series for 2021 that is rooted in the community and focuses on local businesses, entertainment, athletics, and, of course, restaurants. I will be highlighting different aspects of the community once per month, so contact me with any thoughts or ideas for upcoming features!
This month I am revisiting the inspiration for this series which was the Support Local Restaurant week that was featured on my Instagram during the middle of December. The week itself was filled with amazing food, fun times and engagement within the community.
Our first stop was Frenchie Fresh Burger Bar!

The first trip my family and I had was to try the “Build Your Own Burger” experience and couldn’t have been more satisfied – which is why we went back again this week! Everything is fully customizable. The protein options are traditional beef burgers, bison, lamb, and Wagyu. The bread is customizable as well: Frenchie (toasted French baguette) , American, or Lettuce Bun. You have nearly a dozen different topping options which range from adding bacon, eggs, goetta, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, arugula, avocado as well as eight various types of cheese selections.
You cannot go wrong with any of the options for sides either, but you do absolutely have to try the “Frenchie Fries” – which are seasoned with parmesan and truffle dust – they will keep you coming back!
