Let’s Eat! Best Restaurants and Bars in Montgomery
Montgomery Inn: Yes, the original Montgomery Inn in the heart of downtown Montgomery.
Tim Mahoney, Sr. and Kyle Mahoney have listed this as their favorite, and we can’t disagree. If you’re looking for a great place for a business meeting, after work drinks, or to grab dinner with friends and family, we highly recommend you stop by. Do yourself a favor and grab our favorite: a full slab of pork loin baby back ribs. Make sure to get some Saratoga chips with that world famous BBQ sauce. Pro tip: onion straws…on everything.
Forno: If you haven’t tried Forno yet, it’s a must! Rob and Beth Mahoney, Alison Mahoney, and Stacy Rickert all highly recommend it. Forno runs a special on their delicious Bolognese on Tuesday’s – and it’s well worth stopping by for! The dining in the restaurant makes you feel like you’re stepping into an oasis. But if date night is out of the question, don’t hesitate to order their family meals to go – and stay in those pajamas.

Fond: Stacy Rickert, Tim II Mahoney, and Maggie Curtis all agree that Fond is a great hidden gem in
Montgomery. Fond is a deli that serves breakfast and lunch with dine-in and curbside pick-up. They focus on ordering their items from local Cincinnati farms and you can taste it in the food!
Looking for some evening spots? Drew Mahoney and Tim II. Mahoney both agree that Village Tavern is your spot. Want to grab a quick beer and shoot some pool or throw some darts? This is your place. As a wine lover, Stacy Rickert highly recommends Z Place for wine, cheese and more!

Time for Play! Favorite Parks in Montgomery
Montgomery Park – Rob and Beth Mahoney both love Montgomery Park. As their kids
get older, they love to walk the park with their pup. Located off Montgomery road, you don’t hear
any of the traffic while walking this park, so it feels secluded. They have a great playground space for the kids and a baseball field on the property.
Pioneer Park – Tim Mahoney II voted Pioneer Park as his favorite Montgomery park. Located off of Montgomery Road, Pioneer park offers a fishing pond, butterfly gardens, two ball fields, a soccer field and a wildflower meadow!

Swaim Park – Located on the corner of Cooper and Zig Zag, Swaim Park is the #1 rated park
by Drew Mahoney, Alison Mahoney, and Kyle Mahoney. Kyle Mahoney mentions that he grew up
at this park – his mom used to take him there all of the time. Alison Mahoney loves Swaim park
because of the walking path and shaded areas by the water.
Gather and Celebrate! Top Picks for Montgomery Events
Holidays in Montgomery – Beth Mahoney’s favorite annual event is the Christmas season in downtown Montgomery. The streets are decorated and lit up with lights so the town feels like you’ve
stepped into a winter wonderland. It certainly helps put us in the spirit!

Bastille Day – Tim II and Alison Mahoney, and Stacy Rickert all agree that this is their favorite.
From the food to the entertainment, this is the best Montgomery event to meet new neighbors and friends. Bastille Day is held to celebrate 30 years friendship with our sister city, Neuilly-Plaisance,
France.
Fourth Of July– Drew Mahoney, Kyle Mahoney and Maggie Curtis all agree that the Montgomery
4th of July is THE BEST. From the parade to the festivities and walkability to the parks and
restaurants, we think there is no better 4th of July parade out there.
