If you’re ever in Downtown Cincinnati, a visit to LouVino OTR Wine Bar is an absolute must. On my first visit there, I fell in love! Located in the heart of the eclectic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, LouVino offers an unforgettable experience for wine and food lovers alike. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the Commuter Pinot Noir—a delightful choice that perfectly complemented my meal. From bold reds to crisp whites and everything in between, LouVino’s offerings ensure there’s something for everyone. In addition to their extensive wine list, they also offer wine flights, bourbons, local craft beers, and cocktails. I tried the Hulk Hogan, a unique cocktail that comes with a Bomb Pop popsicle inside. It’s hands-down one of the best mixed drinks I’ve had in a long time.

Alongside their stellar wine selection, LouVino offers a vast food menu that includes share-ables like charcuterie boards and loaded baked potato tots to ribeyes and tasty dessert options. During my visit, I had the fried chicken tacos, a guest favorite, which I thoroughly enjoyed. In fact, I could have gone for a third taco—it was that good!
To cap off the meal, I indulged in a delightful country doughnut filled with chocolate ganache and covered with cinnamon and sugar, served with vanilla anglaise for dipping. LouVino also offers a brunch menu on weekends with mouthwatering options like biscuits & gravy and Brie-stuffed French toast.
