Just a few miles north of downtown Cincinnati, Norwood boasts a strong community vibe and a rich history. In recent years, the city has welcomed one of the fastest-growing sports in the country: pickleball. With the rise of pickleball’s popularity, Norwood has embraced the sport in a big way, bringing together both seasoned players and newcomers alike. Aces Pickleball, located inside the Factory 52 development, offers a state-of-the-art facility that blends high-quality play with a welcoming, lively atmosphere.

What is Pickleball?

For those unfamiliar with pickleball, the game is a paddle sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong.Players use paddles to hit a plastic ball with holes (similar to a Wiffle ball) across a smaller court with a net. The game works for singles or doubles and is popular with all ages thanks to its simple rules, quick rallies, and easy-to-learn style.

If you’re looking to get your pickleball fix, Aces is the place to be. This facility has everything a pickleball player needs—from courts to classes and leagues. It’s not just about the game; Aces is a community space designed to bring people together over their shared love of the sport.

As someone who truly enjoys the game, I compete on a women’s 4.0 team that plays league matches around Cincinnati, and when I’m not competing, I play recreationally at Aces. I take lessons, and after our home matches, my teammates and I love to have a glass of wine or margarita, and some appetizers.
