Local Garden Centers to Visit This Summer

Summertime in Cincinnati is magical for gardeners; there’s nothing quite like the thrill of fresh soil on your hands and the promise of new blooms. As someone who loves to get my hands dirty, I’ve spent countless weekends discovering the best places to fill my trunk (and heart) with plants, seeds, and inspiration. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, here are some of my favorite local garden centers that will help your green space flourish this summer.

White Oak Gardens: Westside’s Green Gem

Located on the west side, White Oak Gardens is my go-to for just about everything. This place is more than a garden center; it’s a community hub for plant lovers. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you pick out the perfect perennial or troubleshoot your tomato woes. From houseplants to trees, organic soil to the latest garden tools, their selection is impressive. Don’t miss their workshops and seasonal displays—they’ll inspire your next garden project!

Delhi Flower & Garden Center: Family Roots, Fresh Plants

A Cincinnati staple since 1960, Delhi Flower & Garden Center is a family-owned wonderland now rooted in Liberty Township. Their dedication to high-quality, locally grown plants is evident the moment you step inside. What I love most is that their plants are fresh. From their farm to the shelf in just a day. Whether you want to add curb appeal or bring home a lush new houseplant, their eco-friendly practices and ever-evolving plant selection keep me coming back every season.
