I couldn’t be more thrilled to share my latest blog with you all. Some very exciting news from my dear friend, Christine Kommer! She is stepping into the spotlight with the launch of her very own design company, Christine Kommer Interiors (CKI). In addition to being mom to four amazing children, Christine also has an incredibly supportive husband and two rambunctious yet adorable dogs. When she’s not busy helping clients design dream homes, you can find her indulging in one of her many passions for gardening, needlepoint, diving into a good book, or jet-setting with loved ones. Christine grew up in Cincinnati, then ventured off to college and law school, then spent fifteen years in Chicago practicing law, all the while nurturing a deep-seated love for interior design. So, when she & her family made the move back to Cincinnati, she jumped at the opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of interior design and hasn’t looked back since!
Christine and I met at HOMEARAMA® a few years back while I was in my first year as a REALTOR®, seizing the opportunity to work the opening shift of the show. Her energy drew me in and I knew I needed to be her friend immediately. She was debuting her fabulously designed project in the Cumberland Floorplan of a beautifully built WP Land home. When I toured the home and found out it was her who had designed it, I was blown away and of course was ready to move in! Her use of unique materials & textures give each space its own personality, while keeping the overall flow cohesive. Her choice of artwork is always top notch. I’ve truly enjoyed learning about the design world from Christine. I was and continue to be ever inspired by Christine who paves paths for not only other women entrepreneurs but our young daughters.
Now, onto the star of the show – CKI. Rooted in tradition yet infused with a timeless and inspired twist, CKI is all about crafting spaces that are not only elegant but also inviting and adaptable.
