In a world where good coffee is essential and cozy spaces are a bonus, one café is bringing both—and a little extra heart. Just Love Coffee Café has officially landed in town, and it’s quickly becoming the talk of the neighborhood. Whether you’re chasing your morning caffeine fix or looking for a warm spot to unwind, this inviting café delivers handcrafted drinks, all-day breakfast favorites, and a spirit of connection that goes far beyond your typical coffee stop.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the story behind it.
Ron and Cynthia Mosby, the loving couple behind Ohio’s very first Just Love Coffee Café, have been married for over 40 years. Their journey together is full of warmth, resilience, and a deep commitment to community—qualities that are infused into every corner of the café. When they lost their granddaughter, Chloe, to cancer at the age of three, it became a moment of both heartbreak and inspiration. That love and legacy now lives on through the café, where a silhouette of Chloe graces the top of a coffee table, and a special corner is dedicated in her honor.

More than just a place to “eat, drink, and love” (as the brand’s motto goes), this café is a reflection of the Mosbys’ own love story—one that now touches everyone who walks through the door.
Curious to learn more about what makes Just Love Coffee Café so special, I sat down with Ron to hear the story behind the space that’s already winning hearts—one cup at a time.
How did you choose the Colerain location?
We were looking for a space that could be easily recognized as a coffee shop, and decided that there could be no better location than one that was previously used as a café.
What inspired you to open Just Love Coffee Café?
I had just left my position as a city administrator at the end of 2022, and I was contemplating the next career move when I was contacted by a franchise recruiter. When I talked with my wife about it, she said “you always talked about opening a coffee shop, now is the time to do it.” That was the beginning of our journey.
What’s the story behind the café’s name?
Just Love is a corporate name used for all of its stores’ locations. The founder, Rob Webb, was inspired to use coffee to raise funds and awareness for adoption. By the end of the first year selling coffee, he was able to donate nearly $100,000 to adoptive families.
How would you describe the café’s atmosphere and mission?
Locally, we want our café to be a place where guests can experience coffee, conversation, and community. Just Love Coffee Café is a place where people can share stories in a warm, welcoming environment.
What are your most popular menu items, and why do you think people love them?
Breakfast items are our most popular items, with the breakfast sandwich being the most popular food item. Our most popular drink is our White Chocolate Tiramisu, which is one of our signature drinks.
Do you focus on any local or sustainable ingredients?
We certainly do place an emphasis on local purchases. While many of our ingredients are provided by a prescribed provider, we are able to purchase many items locally.

How do you want people to feel when they walk into Just Love Café?
Our desire is that people feel valued when they come into our café. We want them to know their stories matter. Just Love Coffee Café is a place where they can share their stories, knowing each story is unique and special.
Has the community had any special role in shaping your business?
Absolutely! We would not be able to be in business without the community. When the current and previous township administrator came into the store, they shared with me that the vision for Colerain Township was to have a community coffee café. While we weren’t aware of that when we began the project, it is exciting to know that our store fit right into the plans of the township.
Are there any events, specials, or community partnerships you’d like people to know about?
Yes. First, our store can be open for community events. Also, we offer a catering menu for special events and businesses. We will also be partnering with Nate’s Toy Box later this year.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about the café?
When a person takes a drink from our lazy Susan, he or she will see a silhouette of our granddaughter Chloe, who passed away from cancer at the age of 3. The store is our way of sharing Chloe’s story, life and legacy.
What’s the most rewarding part of running Just Love Café for you personally?
Without a doubt, it is being able to serve the guests. We love to see a room full of people having conversations over food and drink, and developing community with one another.
In what ways do you ensure that Just Love Café stands out from other cafés in the area?
We believe that our attention to our guests and the level of service they receive, in addition to the quality of the food and drinks separate us from other coffee shops. We position ourselves as a limited service café with a full service feel.
What kind of experience do you want people to have when they visit Just Love Café for the first time?
Simply put, we want each person’s first experience with Just Love Coffee Café to be so impactful that when they leave they will say “I WILL be back, and I will tell others about you as well!”
How do you handle competition?
We don’t necessarily see others as competition. We believe a rising tide lifts all boats. We believe we can challenge one another to be better; and in the end, the real winner is the guest.
