Nestled just outside of Loveland, OH, The Marmalade Lily is a breathtaking destination that feels like stepping into a storybook. Known for its stunning flower fields, this enchanting spot offers an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
My daughter, some friends, and I spent a magical evening at The Marmalade Lily, and it was nothing short of perfect. We began our visit by setting up shop at a charming table, complete with our very own charcuterie board and a selection of beverages (this one is perfect for a summer day!). This simple setup added a personal touch to our evening, making it feel like a private little celebration amidst the beauty of nature.
As we sat and enjoyed our snacks, the atmosphere became even more magical when a harpist began to play. The soft, melodic tunes of the harp drifted through the air, enhancing the already serene environment. It was a delightful surprise that made our first visit to The Marmalade Lily truly memorable.
But the real highlight of the evening was the flower picking. Wandering through the vibrant flower fields, we were surrounded by an array of colors and fragrances that made the experience feel almost otherworldly. The opportunity to hand-pick our own flowers was a joy with so many to choose from, and my daughter especially loved creating her very own bouquet (she didn’t care they were pay-per-stem, LOL).
For those who haven’t yet visited, The Marmalade Lily offers a unique experience that’s perfect for families, friends, or even a peaceful solo outing. Whether you’re looking to create beautiful memories or simply enjoy some time outdoors, this hidden gem is a must-visit.
You can hand-pick your own fresh, specialty blooms directly from the gardens. The Marmalade Lily is open for flower picking on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 pm and Saturdays from 9 to 11 am. Admission is just $5, and you can easily purchase your tickets either online or at the farm.
Upon arrival, a friendly member of The Lily Crew will welcome you and provide everything you need, including clippers, baskets, and water. Their floral specialist will also be on hand to guide you through the gardens, showing you what’s in bloom. Flowers are affordably priced, starting at $1 for zinnias and going up to $4 for large hydrangea stems. If you’d like to arrange your flowers on-site, feel free to bring your favorite vase, and don’t forget to wear comfortable outdoor shoes for your foraging adventure.
