The Park Pour: Blue Ash’s Neighborhood Social House

When we don’t feel like driving downtown, our new go-to place is tucked into the heart of Blue Ash: The Park Pour is more than just a café—it’s a neighborhood social house, a French-bistro–style restaurant, an artisanal wine shop, and a cozy gathering place all in one. I have also been there with my book club.

During one of our recent visits, we had the pleasure of meeting Executive Chef Arthur Kurtzman, whose craftsmanship gives the menu a refined, yet inviting feel. He told us that he uses a lot of family recipes he likes to share with people. Everything that we have had has been delicious.

Over the course of our visits, we’ve enjoyed a variety of menu items:

  • The French Onion Soup, rich and savory, with that perfect blanket of melted cheese. This is not the overwhelmingly rich soup that you remember. This is still rich, but much lighter.
  • A vibrant Beet & Burrata Salad, combining earthy beets with the creamy delight of burrata.
  • The classic Croque Monsieur, indulgent and cheesy, a perfect homage to its French bistro roots.
  • A generous Charcuterie Board, showcasing local meats and cheeses that pair beautifully with wine.
  • Comforting Mac & Cheese, elevated by thoughtful seasoning and high-quality cheese.
  • And the standout Bubbie’s Brisket, tender and flavorful—a soulful dish that feels like home. Chef said that this was his aunt’s recipe.

Everything we tried felt crafted with care and passion.

Evening Vibes & Weekly Specials

The Park Pour doesn’t just shine during brunch or lunch—they have a dynamic evening program that offers something special every week after 5 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday:

  • Wine-Down Wednesday: Enjoy a $5 meat or cheese board when you buy a bottle of wine priced $45 or more. If you want a full board, it’s just $15 more.
  • Thirsty Thursday: Two free bar bites when you purchase a bottle of wine for $45+.
  • Friday Night Flight: Order a premium wine flight, and you’ll get a free order of deviled eggs—what a pairing!
  • Satiation Saturday: Buy a bottle of wine for $45+, and they gift you a free dip trio.

Chef Kurtzman also shared some wine tasting events that we are looking forward to attending.

During our last visit, the table beside us was sipping on a cocktail called the Campfire Martini, and it smelled absolutely divine, like toasted marshmallow and smoky sweetness. I had seen it featured on Instagram and was so happy to see and smell it in person.

Why The Park Pour Has Captured Our Hearts

In a dining landscape full of flash, The Park Pour stands out because it isn’t trying to dazzle; it’s trying to welcome. With thoughtful food, a wonderfully curated wine list (over 150 bottles), and thoughtful weekly specials, it’s the kind of place you don’t just visit, you become part of something.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit, especially brunch. I’m very interested to try the Moofahn: English Muffin, Beurre Vin, Egg, Muenster Cheese with a choice of: Bacon, Latke, or Sausage

Whether you’re a neighbor, a wine lover, or someone just looking for a place to slow down and savor, The Park Pour in Blue Ash is exactly the kind of spot the community needed.
