Where to Find the Best Local Sunflower Fields

The sunflower – such a beautiful thing from Mother Nature. When you view a field of them, it is simply magical to see a sea of yellow. This summer be sure to grab your camera and head to a local field to capture their wonderfulness.

Sunflower fun facts: Each sunflower can contain anywhere from 1000 to 2000 seeds. Sunflowers turn with the sun when in the budding stage. And, the tallest sunflower on record was 30-feet tall!

Sunflower Fields Near Cincinnati, Ohio

Bergfurd’s Farm Market and Produce
234 State Route 350 West, Wilmington, Ohio

The Black Barn

White Hall Farm – a Tecumseh Land Trust. Field is along US 68 between the Yellow Springs and Young’s Hersey Dairy. Note: this is private property. Usually 400,000 sunflowers are found in the field.
